Belfast Area High School Reviews
Rating 3.3 out of 5 113 reviews
Belfast Area High School is great for average students and people who like seeking opportunities. There are many great teachers who are willing to help and support you! I highly recommend the field hockey program and getting active in school events as it makes school so much more fun.
I think that college prep needs to begin much sooner in your high school career, even beginning freshman year. Further, I think there should be significantly increased clarity in what you are expected to have for college applications, extra curriculars, SAT subject tests, community service, etc. I think there should be more support offered for filling out the common app, perhaps even a few mandatory sessions in school in place of regular classes. Otherwise the teachers are incredibly kind and rigorous academics are offered.
The teachers are all very kind, and academic or non-academic help is easily accessible. A welcoming and accepting school, has good classes and clubs.
