The experience provided by Belen High School has been great! The teachers are friendly and they will teach several different methods until a student has an understanding on a subject. Students have great school spirit, Belen is actually known for their spirit week throughout the Valencia County. However, the only thing I would like to see changed is the schedule, it is disorganized with an advisory break allowing only 15 minutes to go to another class and make up work.

Belen High School has been a very good experience for me the last 4 years, I had very organized, caring teachers that did everything and anything to teach me to the fullest of my knowledge. Although there at times are some rough patches in our learning due to poverty in our community Belen High makes a way for us to do as much as possible!
The Administration at Belen High School has been very diligent in assisting me, as well as other students. They have informed me about a great deal of scholarships and opportunities for college, and I greatly appreciate it. However, I dislike the system they have in place for teaching. Many times, the teachers will not have a set way of teaching their students, and are not prepared when we come in to learn. This wastes the limited time we have together, as they are not stern enough with their students, and allow them to disrupt the learning atmosphere often. All in all, there is much I have learned at Belen High School, but I could have learned much more if the school had put in more effort towards our education.
