I am a high school junior at Beehive Science and Technology Academy. I have been at Beehive Academy for 5 years. Beehive is an apple distinguished school and is very STEM oriented. Beehive also emphasizes importance of college readiness and connections to the outer world. They are very engaged in many programs and activities. They provides plenty of extracurricular activities and involve AP and Concurrent classes. At Beehive, there is a very diverse culture with friendly teachers willing to help you with any sort of problems. It is one of the best public charter schools. They also help you focus a lot on academic tests and help you prepare for your career and the future. They also prepare you for standardized tests and give you many opportunities to the outside world.
I enjoy the emphasis on STEM subjects. The teachers I currently have are great! There are several after school clubs, and tutoring is available for most classes after school also. Every student is provided an iPad to use for class assignments.
I loved the academics at beehive, its college driven so they prepare you for the future. I've been taught college level algebra but also life lessons like taxes and mortage payments. The diversity is a what makes this school stand out, everyone is from different walks of life. They helped me succed in everyway and earm awards I never thought id earn. One thing I wish would change is growth, its very small and I feel would do better as a larger school.
