Some of the teachers are really nice however there are some who favor more students, yeah I know every one does that. However there was this time in Nineth grade where my friend and I needed help on an assignment and the teacher was to busy talking with some other students they wouldn't help us. Also the sports in the school suck I myself love to play sports, however I am not able to due to poor conditions. Outside there is no grass whats so ever. We have to play sports in a parking lot. The basketball court is also in the parking lot with a fence surrounding it. We don't have one sports team unless you consider chess. When I was in seventh grade we had a basketball team however they didn't do good so the school got rid of the team, this makes no sense let us do what we like to do, no matter how good or bad our team is.
Review Your School
This is one of the best school that I have ever attended. The teachers take so much time out of their schedules to help students prepare for the ACT and college. They have study groups every Saturday to help their students. In addition, they have multiple camps throughout the school year to also help you prepare for college.
This school used to be amazing. However, after hiring a few unsuitable new teachers, this school has gone downhill extremely fast. Some of the new teachers choose favorites and get those they don't like in trouble. For example, a student was in the bathroom supposedly on his/her phone. When the coach heard of it, he took the phone, although other student were in his classroom texting right in front of him and he has no legitimate evidence of such activity. There are many cases like this one and if you try to talk to the school counselor, you can be sure that she will automatically side with the teacher whether he/she is right or wrong. Also, the girls tend to be the only ones dress coded for certain clothes. If a girl is wearing stretchy pants, jeans, pants that are rolled up, pants that are tucked into boots, etc. they get detentions. But when boys break the dress code, no one notices. I wish this school could go back to how it used to be. It's too bad the good teacher have to also adopt the terrible reputation this school has.
