I am a 7th grader at beechwood and graduating in 2020. I love it at beechwood and I really feel like I am my best self there. I really feel like the teachers care about you. There is no popularity towards anyone and Friend groups are welcoming to new kids. Also, our middle school is smaller compared to other middle schools so if you want a personal connection with everyone, this is the place. When I talk to kids from other middle schools, it blows my mind that they don’t know everybody name. At beechwood, kids have some sort of relationship with every kid in the grade or beyond. I absolutely love feeling comfortable at at ease with these kids.
If I could improve anything about the school it would be the electives and safety. Our electives are band, orchestra, dance, guitar, photography, and physical education. I also feel that the school lacks safety. Our school is wide open and has no form of a barrier. Overall, I highly recommend beechwood school!

When our daughter attended the school it was very difficult to get in. Most of the Teaching staff were approachable.

I believe it was a good experience academically, but not socially, because the children did'nt let outsiders in (if was not their home school). Fortunately, I was able to help my daughter make some friends.

Would I do it again, no! Why, I don't think any child should have to endure what my daughter and a few other student's experienced (rejection for no apparent reason).

Sincerely,

Leah Larson
At Beechwood most of the children came from higher income families. Tutoring on campus was'nt always available to students from lower income families, because transportation, they road the school bus.
