It's a good school. I love the family system. It comes in handy especially when I'm having a hard time. Since the school pays all of its attention to academics, there are no sports, which makes it a little boring, and hard to actually experience true high school. Most of the teachers are good and actually care about their students. The classes can be difficult and the workload is a lot, but once you get the hang of it it becomes easier to manage. I do wish that there were more activities to participate in. Overall, I'm glad that I came here.
The school was very hard, it challenged me to become better. I learned so much from this school. It has taught me how to be consistent, respectable, social, a leader, and brave. The school was very large, and did not have a lot of students in each class.
Beaumont Early College High School is a great school! It is a high school that partners with the college, Lamar Institute of Technology. This allows the students at ECHS to graduate with an associates degree and a high school diploma. My only complaint is that there are hardly any extracurriculars, and no sports.
Being at Beaumont Early College High School is like being at a second home. The teachers are great educators and amazing mentors.
I am a part of the first graduating class of Beaumont Early College. It is only 40 something of us left. There may be less than that. We've come a long way from not having anything to have a fully functional highschool. Our cafeteria was remodeled just for us, and LIT professors come to us, or we take the bus to them.
This is the best school to attend. And the students and teachers are really appreciated and nice. This school provides programs that are provided for the students. Such as degree programs like biological science, instrumentation, process operating, the associates of arts. This opportunity given is a great opportunity for each students to receive the amount of work for the career path they choose. Also when going to college the student will have most of their credits and won’t have to worry about most college hours. Also there’s a catch, some of the credit hours that the students may get won’t always transfer to any university outside of Texas.
My experience at Beaumont Early High School has been amazing in many ways. With supportive teachers, rare disruptions, and the principal's love for her school, Beaumont Early College students are able to go to school and learn but also enjoy their time there. Early college provides a safe, caring, and comfortable yet rigorous environment for its students. I am forever grateful for the chance to attend this school.
Beaumont Early College High School started in 2016. The year of 2020 is the graduation year for the first class. This school is for Academics so there are no sports. The college readiness and education experience is great. Since the school is new it has a ways to go but new things and ideas are being introduces everyday.
I like that this school has a lot of benefits for me in the future and it gives me a head-start for my college experience and future career. The teachers and faculty are motivational and they want to see you achieve. I also like that even though this school isn’t the “normal” high school they have qualities like one. For example, we get out of school at the same time and we get to drive to school.
