This year is going to be my last year going to Bay View High School. Through the last three years, I believe education wise, it was good. There are a good amount activities like sports, clubs, and programs that help students who need it.
I think what I like most about BVHS is the diversity. There are a variety of different ethnicity in the school. Not just the students, but also the teachers and staffs. Another thing that I see in this school is, students are very encouraged to go out there. They are constantly reminded about opportunities that will help them for the future.
I'm not looking for much about how the school should change. I think that the school should really consider more about the students perspectives. That there should be more consideration towards the students at times. Everyone on school ground have a job. When offering something it should be in a way where we have a choice and can make our own decisions, instead of by force or "just because" kind of way.
My experience at Bay View , was very miraculous . The students that attended were all from many amazing backgrounds. From Haitian , to Arabian, to Jamaican . I mean they all came from different backgrounds and the best part was that they were all welcomed. Everyone at Bay view is welcomed no matter what background you come from. The sports they have were basic sports that every school had. I played for the softball team and this year we won our city conference championship. our schools team hasn't won that game in eight years. So it was a blessing winning that championship . Here at bay view we have a college readiness program , that helps not only seniors but every grade here to get ready for college. Her name is MS. AJ and she's the best supporter we have here when it comes to college and your dreams. She helped me find what I want to go into as my career path , once I graduate from bay view this year.
