The campus has an overall family feeling. The culture and climate is very supportive and the teachers work collaboratively among the teams and vertically across the campus. Parents are always welcome to visit the classrooms and there is a huge parent turn out any time there is a music program, an art event, or book fair. The campus has a math and literacy night in the fall and the teachers take plenty of time to create engaging activities and are always friendly and welcoming to visitors. They know all the students names and many of the families also. They make you feel like you belong when you enter the school or classroom.

The math and literacy night was so much fun for our family. Everyone enjoyed it and had a great time. We attended the Gator Reading Round Up Program and we so proud when Bay Colony even won the reading competition at the district level. My son is now practicing to be in the spelling bee. I enjoy the staff and enjoy seeing the students interact in the cafeteria. The other parents have been very positive also.
The counselor is very involved and helps anytime there may be a problem. The nurse is great and calls anytime she thinks there may be a concern with my child or something happens in the classroom that could effect him. The campus has an active facebook page and they publish a lot of information about the school that is helpful.
