From Bay Area Christian School

As a ministry of Bay Area Church, Bay Area Christian School has nearly a half century of experience in educating the next generation of Christ followers. Deuteronomy 6:7 commands parents to teach their children God’s Word at home and when they walk by the way.
BACS endeavors to be a family’s “by the way” partner as we promote a biblical worldview. Theoretical research clearly state that children learn through their cognitive, physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational experiences. BACS is a school where great attention is given to each of these constructs in our educational approach.
Students at BACS enjoy college preparatory courses, a full ensemble of athletic programs, robust fine arts opportunities, superb facilities, meaningful student relationships, and professionals who care about families and students - all in the scope of a biblical worldview. We believe that impact is generational and eternal, and we invite you to come see the difference!

We have been involved with the school for 12 years now. We have loved every aspect of the school. The environment is super friendly! The staff is incredible! The teachers are so helpful and willing to help your child with any aspect, academically or socially! We are very involved with sport in our family. The positive encouragement and high standard of excellence on and off the field is so important to us in the growth and development of our children. The coaches here hold that in such high regards and we appreciate that.

My school was a private Christian school that sought to give children a more advanced education while also teaching Biblical principles. A majority of the teachers were genuinely caring and supportive; it was evident they cared a lot about their career and how they were helping students. However, at times I feel like they weren't really educating us about the Bible as well as they potentially could have. At times some of the lessons were vague and others had been drilled into us to the point that they lost meaning. Some examples of these lessons were ones such as "God forgives" and " God disapproves of homosexuality and premarital sex". I would like to see my school take more of an active effort to bring meaning and more explanation to their lessons instead of just repeating themselves and assuming we have gathered anything from it.
Bay Area Christian School has played a tremendous role in my life and has impacted who I am today. From the teachers to the cafeteria ladies, I can honestly say this school is filled with love. Bay Area has taught me self-discipline, respect for myself and others, how to stand up for my faith, integrity, and leadership! I will never forget the day when my chemistry teacher, Mrs. Maeir, handed me a handwritten note of encouragement. I look forward to learning and walking into the high school hallways every day! As a junior, I am becoming aware of the stress and anxiety of college, but one thing that has been comforting is knowing that my teachers want the best for me and are going to help me get there.
