It was an awesome 4 years being in that high school. I've had a lot of fun times being there. I'm in the band there, and I gotta say, the band director is the best one around. I had fun hanging out with my fellow band members, too. I remembered all the concerts we did, and the music festivals, and marching. Overall, it was a good experience being in the band there. Outside of that, I wasn't really in anything else besides Art. The art teacher there is awesome, too. I always got A's because i'm a good artist. We also went on field trips. Outside of my activities, to be honest, I didn't have a lot of friends. It wasn't because of the other kids, I was just really shy. Most kids there are super nice and awesome, and I would of been friends with all of them if I wasn't such a shy kid. And everyone in high school had a boyfriend/girlfriend, including me. Sadly it ended, but it's ok to move on. Relationships don't last forever, especially if it's in high school. But overall, I loved it.

What I liked about Baxter Springs High School was that the first day I transferred there, some students came to me and asked me questions about me, and I’m still friends with some of those people to this day. It was a very welcoming place and even the teachers helped me get settled tremendously. What I wish to see change, is the teachers that didn’t put in as much effort as the students. It’s so dismantling to kids.
Most teachers were wonderful to have, as they showed true passion and care for many of their students, both academically and pertaining to their overall wellbeing. There were plenty of interesting courses to take, the technology provided to us was phenomenal, and there was always something interesting going on.
