I love the school, it's great! There are great opportunities there. What I love the most is that you are able to take AP and DE classes that can transfer to your college! The teachers are awesome, most of them are extremely good at what they are doing and they care. What I love the most is that people care at our schools, teachers care, everyone involved in the education of the students cares! Honestly I am very happy that I go to this school, it's provided me with a lot of opportunities of which I've taken advantage! I've taken 7 AP or DE classes at this school, but of course thanks to Colorado Mountain College Edwards all our credits are able to transfer to our dream university!

My experience at Battle Mountain has been amazing! I have so many opportunities for a creative outlet. The teachers are wonderful and are always looking for ways to help us students get the grade we work for. The students don’t judge eachother on anything. If someone is gay, trans, poor, or rich, everyone is treated the same and I find that pretty amazing. I love my school. I wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else for my high school experience.
The extracurricular opportunities at Battle Mountain High School are the best! Theres a variety of clubs and organization like FBLA, Interact, Hispanic Mentors, NHS, Link Crew, musicals, school plays, ect. Once your in one of these clubs your committed, and the students respect the commit that is made and make the club or organization the best that they can. For everyone the most fun options are going to be different but I really enjoyed FBLA, Link Crew, Interact, and the school musicals. The most popular options are Link Crew and NHS. The administrated support is be the best! The teachers that are involved become your parent away from home and there are the ones that create an environment where the students want to be here and become a family. Some other after-school actives are homework club, the school newspaper, and girl power.
