My experience in Lander County, Battle Mountain High School has very good. What I like about the school is that the teachers provide an education that helps the students be ready for college. Everyone is treated equally and are treated with respect if respect is given, students and staff. I like that i can fit in and get along with everyone. I also like dedicating my time to school, school work, sports and participating in helping the community and school.

Teachers here are amazing and always make their lessons fun. They keep you interested by using technics students are involved with or enjoy. Such as music; They research about different artist and styles. You never lose interest because it's stuff you already listen to, talk about, or do your own research about, and you even attend concerts. It's easy to learn when it suits to you. Teachers here always go above and beyond with their lessons. Its a amazing place to learn with the best people around!
Small school with teachers who care about you. For the size of the school, we have a strong academic program with opportunities to take college courses. We also have excellent athletic programming. Finally, the culture is a safe and positive one.
