I truly think my experience at Baton Rouge High was one of a kind. Baton Rouge High students are truly a diverse group of people. You can easily find many groups of cultures such as African American, Caucasian, Indian, Bengali, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Cambodian, African, etc. The teachers here are very good and helpful and most of them are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that you succeed as a student at Baton Rouge High. Coming to Baton Rouge High at first, the rigor may seem overwhelming considering that they make sure each student graduates with more credits than needed and the copious amounts of schoolwork is consistently challenging, but everyone slowly adjusts and it becomes a great environment. Although at the time, it seems tedious and exhausting to do the work at this school, students are later rewarded by their developed studying skills and are able to ease into their college years.

As a Senior, I have to say that this school is for the kids that are expressive, imaginative, and are passionate about what they want to be in society. Being a student here, at this school for 4 years is just hands down amazing! Because of the teachers piling on homework to the point where you have no social life at all. This school is the most diverse, academically challenging school in America. Again, as a Senior I am so glad that I'm leaving this school this spring.
Baton Rouge High is an excellent magnet school, and the teachers, staff, and administrators ensure that students get the best quality of education. The school is very diverse and has students with different cultures from all around the world. The high school mainly focuses on academics, but it also has an amazing performing arts program. As a member of the choir, I can say that I am very pleased with the way that my teacher teaches our class about music. In academics, our teachers encourage us to be over-achievers to prepare us for college and our career life. Baton Rouge High can sometimes be challenging, but it will help students to develop work ethic that will assist them in the years to come.
