I love Batesville High School, it has given me everything out that I wanted out of my high school experience. All of the staff are so helpful with anything that you need. I am an athlete so of course, I am going to be biased about the athletic facilities, but I believe as a 2019 State Champion that we deserve a new gym.

Batesville High School is a good school when it comes to academics, sports, and the friendliness of teachers. Teachers at this school thrive to help their students in any ways they can. It really shows that we students matter at this school, and that our teachers care a lot for our education and futures.

Meals aren't as good as they could be, and the kids can be mean sometimes, so it's hard to make friends. That's why I rated my school 4 stars instead of 5.
Batesville High School is one of the most stress-free high schools that I know of. Those who struggle with any subject have help readily available. I personally began struggling with Alegbra in middle school and didn't have a particularly excellent grade in Algebra 1 at my previous school. However, when I came to Batesville High School, I was met with math that was taught in a way I could understand, and ended up with A's in Algebra 2 and so far, in Algebra 3. However, I do feel that the college and career planning could be improved, or perhaps have a few required events before we graduate (i.e. conferences or meetings with counselors about colleges and possible career interests). Because they aren't mandatory, most kids don't always go and discuss their future plans and later on might feel lost or undecided in how they'll go about their future.
