I've liked Basehor-Linwood High School all four years I've gone here. The community is super welcoming and a great place to be! There's so many sports and events to get involved in, and there's tons of diverse opinions to hear from! There's many teachers that excel in what they teach, and do such a great job! The classes I'm currently taking are all preparing me for a successful future, and getting me ready for living on my own. I'm so excited to make my last few months of memories here before going to college.
I absolutely love BLHS. After covid-19 begun, I lost my passion to attend school in person, but I still enjoyed doing virtual school with them!
Bashor Linwood high school provided a good opportunity for all types of students with very backgrounds and skill-sets to succeed during their time as a student at Basehor Linwood. Personally, I was involved in sports, and took honor level courses, many of these I even received college credit for which greatly helped reduce the cost of pursuing my undergrad degree and helped prepare me to make the transition to college. Basehor did a really good job of challenging us in these advanced classes and I felt competitive and prepared for the challenges of college in comparison to my college classmates. In addition to the academic opportunity Basehor Linwood Highschool provided it also had a fantastic sports program where it not only focused on the sport and being competitive, but most coaches took great pride in developing the athletes into even better people and setting us up to succeed in other areas of life besides just athletics, many of them went on to pursue other impressive endeavors.
