Baruch is a great school. The teachers are approachable, and they are clear in covering the material; some really enjoy what they do. The administration, on the other hand, is not as good. The administration has a history of ignoring student's requests-whether that is implementing stronger policies to prevent racism or offering stronger advising from the guidance counselor. There have been attempts to fix this (i.e. Town Hall meetings) however they are not effective. Other than the terrible administration, the academics at Baruch are really good. For this upcoming school year, there are a lot of new teachers and AP classes. Sadly, I can not take these classes (not offered to my grade) but it's great for incoming students. Advisors are also amazing and very supportive!

Highlights of the school: social action projects, supportive teachers, great academics
Downsides: poor administration, low funding, cliques

As a student at Baruch College Campus High School, the one thing my school would be known for is its strong community. Baruch is a small school with about 500 students; going to a small school allows everyone to get to know each other. Baruch reaches out to the students, family, and staff through Instagram, Twitter, and its official school website. My school is also known for its dedication to advisory and its senior mentoring program. Advisory is a place where students can reach out to their advisor whenever they need advice. It's a great class to have because it allows students to talk about something that has been bothering them in a safe and welcoming environment. Lastly, something that makes Baruch stand out from other high schools is the teachers. All the teachers are super understanding and empathetic, which is always a plus!
I am a rising senior at BCCHS and I love it at this school! The teachers are so dedicated and the administration works hard to ensure that the school is running smoothly, and is a safe environment. The school is very small, but it gives the students the chance to build a close-knit community. Students are driven and strive to achieve good grades and are committed to participating in school extra curricular activities. The school is wonderful when it comes to offering opportunities that will help advance a student's involvement in their education.
