What I like about Bartlesville High School is that they care a lot about their students safety. They always do whatever they can to ensure that we are at our best. They also have a great sports program.
Bartlesville High School is a very experienced and diverse place. The teachers and faculty make sure to put students first and do a very good job at it. They come prepared everyday to make sure that me and my fellow classmates are able to learn. They put education first and always are able and willing to give a helping hand. The one thing about this High School I would change is the access and way to join Clubs, Stuco, etc... It is pretty complicated to join one of these because the information on how to join one is never spread nor is it ever brought up. Even if you ask a teacher, they always defer you to the counselor who sometimes knows what your talking about. The school was handled the Covid situation well and I am excited to go here for the rest of my high school tenor.
Bartlesville School is pretty nice. there is no bullying from what I've seen. I like how they give you the option of doing full-distance learning, half-distance learning, or in-person learning as well. the only thing I wish would change is the firewall and I wish they offered archery.
I had a pretty good experience with Bartlesville High School. The teachers want everyone to succeed and graduate. They care a lot about what you want to do in life and want to help you achieve your goals. The one thing I would want to see change is the general attitude of the students. It’s hard to try to change that but I would like to see if it could improve.
There are good teachers (most of the time) but when you get bad ones, you get BAD ONES if you know what I mean. I had a teacher get mad at me for something I didn’t understand which to this day I don’t understand. The school itself needs some repairs, but the FAC is well done. The school should also focus their efforts on the arts the same way they do with the sports. 3/5 stars.
I have had very mixed feelings about my time here. I have been involved in some very wonderful things, but have also experienced violent threats among other terrible things.
I went to Bartlesville High School from the years 2016-2019 and during these years I learned that the most important assets of a great school are their faculty. It doesn't matter the condition of the establishment but as long as the teachers want to help their student achieve their goals then that's the heart of education. It is an amazing place to raise children and encourage them to reach new heights in life. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows for teenagers but I feel like Bartlesville High School could be a static place for kids who need a good education and a stable place to learn discipline and new knowledge.
Average High School Experience. Facilities are optimal, teachers are competent, and the administration is fair.
I love BHS! When I started school here it was pretty scary, but luckily it was easy to find a good group of friends and rely on my teachers and coaches for support.
Bartlesville High School is a great school, I made lifelong friends and learned so much. The teachers are very supportive and I would recommend BHS to any one!!
I have attended Bartlesville High School all four years of my high school career. It has clean facilities and friendly staff. The bullying tolerance is often overlooked, however, when I was having issues with it I was able to contact a teacher who guided me through the situation. The courses and opportunities that Bartlesville High School provides for their graduating class in good, however, I do wish the counselors have aided my fellow students and me more when learning about our futures. Overall, I love the school and its atmosphere. I have grown up in the Bartlesville school district my whole life and would not change the incredible teachers and friends that I have gotten to meet along the way.
Overall, from the past four years, my time at Bartlesville has been a roller coaster. The inclusivity of the school needs a lot of work, and teachers need to be more informed on how to treat and help minority students. The lack of diversity causes a smile collide between peers to get along smoothly. Besides the small setbacks, I believe that the facility and music departments are one to be proud of. I have met many friends along the way, and I do not regret going to the school, but it still has a long way to go.
Administration and some teachers are unresponsive to parental concerns and students are left to figure it out. My child has had one teacher who has spent much time discussing his political learning and is almost verbally combative at perceived disagreement.
I love the activities that are offered and the school spirit! There’s always something great going on at the high school whether it be a play put on by our theatre department,a sports game in our wonderful facility,or just a nice meeting with the wonderful organizations Bartlesville has to offer! My first year at Bartlesville High School has been nothing but great!
I moved from a very small school to Bartlesville earlier this year. I feel as if my education is taken much more seriously here and that there is a higher emphasis on school functions and graduation rates than where I was previously. It is almost like a mini college which really prepares you for a taste of what you could get at a University.
My experience at BHS was great. The teachers were fantastic. One thing I'd like to see change is schedules. When I went there, the counselors did not do a very good job on providing me what I needed to get into college.
The school had wonderful teachers and excellent academics. However, there were many disciplinary cases in which the culprits never should have been able to sneak their contraband past the administration.
