Not only did this school teach me so much about life and what I would experience as a college student and adult, prepare me for a career, and give me the best mentors, but it also provided me with a second home. The teachers and faculty at BCHS were beyond amazing. They genuinely cared about you and your well-being.
At Barren County High School one can feel comfortable. I feel I can tell the teachers anything and express my feelings. The faculty allows their students to feel a gain of trust. Student to student; teacher to teacher; teacher to student-everyone looks after one another. The time spent at school is a time well spent. The faculty tries to make it a positive, ready to learn environment.
I love everything about my school! I’ve been in the Barren County School system since kindergarten. Also my parents, grandparents. Everyone went here. It’s just an all together amazing school. And when my best friend committed suicide in August of 2017, the school system and community supported the family and myself extremely well.
