Barnwell High is a school that has some of the best teachers you will ever meet. While there choice of courses tend to be limited due to spending, the classes tend to be a perfect balance between educational, and hard. The school property isn't extensive, and tends to fall apart in certain parts, but is mainly due to the age of the school. It is not due to the hard work of the maintenance team onsite. Overall, it is the best choice for a high school in the county.

I started in Barnwell School District the second semester of my tenth grade year of high school. It was the best decision I have ever made. MY old school I felt lost, invisible and unwanted. I made friends so much easier, I loved my classes, and I had many more opportunities for my future. Barnwell High school allowed me to enroll in the JROTC program and helped me align my future for after high school. If it weren't for transferring to Barnwell High school I would still be lost.
At Barnwell high school it’s not about a school. It’s a community, a family! When someone in the family is having a bad day or week or out hurt. The community come together and help one another!
