Bard High School Early College in West Side Cleveland has amazing opportunities. It provides it's senior graduates with a high school diploma along with a(n) Associates Degree. The 4 years you spend in this school really helps you grow both mentally and emotionally. The academics at this school is super accelerated but at the same time its very do' able. The staff and faculty here are amazing! Bard provides assistance to students who need it. For example we have therapists to speak to in difficult times, teachers to get help from any time during open office hour times so all round the school provides social and academic help. This school has given me opportunities that other schools I considered didn't offer and for that I am thankful for the College opportunity.

My experience at Bard has been OK. The school lacks structure often making everything seem like unorganized chaos. The teachers are insightful and wonderful but the administrative staff does little to ensure that students are college ready for example not offering clubs, extracurricular for students, standardized testing prep, or advanced placement classes. While this school focuses on offering the students college freedom it is not suitable for students to have that much free time and lack of discipline.
Also Bard does not have a collegial atmosphere. The students don't have access to fully functional computers or printers. Not only do they lack the resources but they lack the space conducive for quiet study.
I'm only rating my high school a 3 because my professors are great and I'm receiving an AA degree.
Bard High School Early College Cleveland, also known as BHSEC, was the perfect experience to prepare me for my next steps in college. Not only did I earn my high school diploma, but I also received my Associate's degree in Liberal Arts which has helped knock off two years of my future college career. The school itself was incredibly helpful during my four years attending. There isn't much that I would like to change at Bard High School because they offered me such a great experience for my high school years.
