My experience at Banks County High school reflects my rating; it was okay. Despite keeping to myself, I was not bullied and had opportunities to shine through academics and band. That was the extent of what I enjoyed about high school (asides from friends and specific teachers). What I want to see changed is the quality of the teaching faculty in the STEM department. Out of the four years of high school, I had one math teacher that cared for the students' understanding of material. The other STEM teachers either acted very unreasonably to students, showed favoritism towards students in sports clubs, had very little involvement in students understanding of material, or a mixture of these traits.

Banks Co. High School is an amazing public school. Staff and students are respectful towards everyone and there are very few things I would change. This school is not very diverse, which can cause some students to feel isolated. Other than this, Banks County High School does a great job at providing for students and staff, while also making sure everyone feels included and happy.
Teachers are caring and it is a fun and uplifting environment. Everywhere you look there are helping hands and caring eyes , all schools could use some improvement. No ones perfect but my school could do better at helping their graduating students by taking an extra step, or meeting once in awhile to update us with information
