I love this school! I have so many choices and really do get to control my trajectory and interests. I believe that my teachers my friends have made me a better student, athlete, community member, and person. Because of the school's size, I've had opportunities at Bancroft that I wouldn't have found anywhere else.

I am graduating this year, (Class of 2024) And I thought I'd give my honest thoughts for prospective students. Bancroft School was a very interesting and mixed experience for me as a student. As a freshman, I found classes a large adjustment from my HIGHLY alternative Middle School. There was some support offered to me, but not enough to teach me how to move past the blocks. Therefore, it was really up to me to "own my leaning" (as their slogan says). When I joined the school, there was a lot of change around instituting new programs and approaches to learning; making my grade the test case for every new class. These classes turned out to be amazing and I believe that they really boosted the trajectory of the school. The teachers are second to none, absolutely amazing. The student body can be generally described as upper-class, this is a good and a bad thing. Overall, by my senior year, I really found my stride in school and was getting the best grades I have ever received.
I could not be happier with our Bancroft experience! My children are academically-challenged and nurtured by teachers who truly care about each student. The school's approach to education is cutting-edge; my kids aren't just learning facts and skills, they're applying them to real-world projects all the time! Bancroft does a really good job teaching character and leadership, and I see the kindness and compassion my kids are learning at Bancroft transfer over to their time outside of school. And the specials classes can't be beat! My children have access to stellar art, drama, robotics, music, library, foreign language, and cultural opportunities. Thanks to Bancroft, my kids are hard-working, academically-advanced, kind, well-rounded, engaged with their community, and really, really excited to go to school each day!
