The school is not so good. No challenging classes, fights, suspensions, almost no sports, dirty school, bad food, and below grade level students. Even though I would suggest this school over other city schools because of their immersion and IB programs students are "barbaric" and never listen to the teacher. This is both middle and elementary. This leads to way more them half the students being below grade level. The teachers try their best but they need to tell students to get off their phones and stop talking all the time. There were big fight sometimes, where students would wrestle, and punch each other for over 2 minutes. The most the school would do is an in school suspension.

Overall the school is ok. Most of the students are fluent in their language, some are not. The majority of students are not proficient in English and math. Part of this is the curriculum. The building itself is not the best, however it is a city school. One major issue at the school is that the students are not well behaved. It is almost crazy on how immature some of the 8th graders are.
Baltimore International Academy is a good school but I think that some of the students should be more mature than they already are and need to be high in their academics because I see that Reading and Math is low so they need to bring that up. College Readiness needs more support even though students are going to high school they also need to learn more about college as well.
