As a student who attends here the overall atmosphere is enjoyable. Most of the teachers have their own unique way of teaching that makes learning more exciting and they adjust to each students' pace. Baltimore Design School isn't your typical public high school nor is it a typical art school, our academics matter as much as our design pathways and is even incorporated into the curriculum. There's not many downsides to this school other than sports. Even though there's not any sports in the school students can exercise in the gym we have. I really enjoy Baltimore Design School and it makes me feel right at home when I step foot into the building everyday.

I have been in Baltimore design School since 6th grade and have watched the culture change almost every year. There is constant flow of teachers out as there is teachers in making it harder for students to make lasting connections for recommendations. The teachers hired tend to be inexperienced and that often leaves students unprepared and not properly educated in that class. The administrators try their best to help students out but the counselors often are abrasive to students feelings and tend disregard student triggers. The current principal tend to do well in making sure that students feel heard as well and makes sure that all students have what they need where ever she can help it.
What I liked about Baltimore design school was what the school was made for students interested in Architecture, graphic design, and fashion. the only thing I would change at Baltimore Design School is the lack of resources that each track so the teachers can teach more efficiently. I loved my four years at Baltimore design school because of my teacher and classes. The teachers are young and really eager to help the students out with anything from personal artwork to college essays, and the high school guidance Shannon Hayes is amazing ther is not a thing he can not do.
