I had transferred into Bailey middle school between the tear and nonetheless the transfer process wasn't easy. They messed up my grade, schedule and didn't supply me and educate me about student id, student email account, powerschool and my lunch schedule. However, the teachers were welcoming. They however did not help me comfortably adjust expect for my social studies teacher. The school did not offer as much clubs or activities as they should have. Sports was the only important aspect while the arts was not focused upon. The bathrooms were also broken and no effort was put Into repairing the broken bathrooms. Many of the doors wouldn't close and there wasn't any soap in the dispensary. However the learning experience was better and the material that was covered was easily understood by me. They had lots of rules that were strictly enforced and followed. Overall it was like any other public school. It was not funded properly and the teachers didn't have the incentive to help.
I very much liked the teachers, however, the students either think I'm weird or are only my friends to fill in a space. Otherwise, academically speaking, I believe that this is a very good school along with many electives and clubs to allow us to be who we want to be.
Bailey Middle was a great school with lots of caring teachers and faculty. The layout of the school is perfectly designed to help students with navigation. The curriculum they offer was great and it is a very safe school. Lots of activities that get the students involved.
