In terms of education, academic rigor, and college readiness, BSGE is at the top of its league. The teachers are for the most part knowledgeable, dedicated, and passionate about the subjects they teach. The small class sizes make forming personal relationships with your teachers much easier and more rewarding in the long term. It is important to understand that the academic rigor of the IB diploma programme is not to be taken lightly: I found that the school depleted my social life almost entirely over the course of 6 years. But to those that are hard workers and up to the challenge, this school offers everything that you need in order to succeed in college, and later on in life.

The Baccalaureate School for Global Education is an incredible school for high achieving middle school and high school students in New York City. The small student body creates a tight-knit community where students can always feel at ease. Students can easily form close relationships with their teachers and peers. Although the Pre-IB and IB courses at the school are very rigorous, help from teachers allow for a smooth academic transition. At BSGE, students quickly become well-rounded and mature individuals both inside and outside the classroom.
The Baccalaureate School for Global Education takes in well-rounded individuals and turns them into so much more than that. Through discussion-based classes and an incredibly welcoming environment, students are taught how to think and analyze the world around them rather than focusing on test-taking. Though it lacks in clubs, activities, and sports, it makes up for it in spirit and student involvement. There is an incredible focus on helping the world around us and the teachers spend so much time with the students they become family just as the students do.
