I do love Babylon and on paper it seems very attractive to families looking for a place to settle. However, some of the things that many love when they first move here, I got sick of after living here for so many years. Babylon is extremely small, so everyone knows everything that's going on in your life, and on top of that, Babylon is very clichey. Additionally, since Babylon is so small, they don't offer a lot of classes that many other schools on Long Island offer. Additionally, Babylon isn't diverse in the slightest. Babylon is mostly white Catholics. Babylon has some great teachers that really prepare you for AP tests and regents, but it also has many teachers that will give you a 100 for anything, which doesn't prepare you for the future or college in the slightest. Also, Babylon is very competitive, which can be seen as either good or bad. Babylon is extremely safe though. For parents, a lot of the policies are really good, but for students it's inconvenient.
Babylon Junior Senior High School located in Babylon, NY has been a awesome school for me. I’ve learned many great things that I will be taking with me when I leave. I’ve even played Junior Tennis there. Many teachers and staff there are very caring and they truly want to help you be the best. I will miss many things at Babylon H.S. But will be taking the knowledge and experience I have had with me to College. I thank everyone for their help and support since my first year.
Babylon Junior Senior High School is small school located in Babylon New York. The faculty is amazing as they are some of the friendliest people you will meet, the average graduating class size is around 130 so it is exceptionally small. Like everything else, this has its advantages as well as its disadvantages. Everybody knows everybody but at the same time its nice to be apart of a community where everyone knows your name.
