Avonworth Primary Center Reviews

Avonworth has a very active and involved community. There is a lot of parent involvement with the school, and more volunteers than needed most of the time. Teachers are also very open to individualizing certain aspects of learning to fit individual students.

The diversity of the student body and staff is very low, it's mostly a rich white area from what I see. It would be nice to see more diversity in the hiring process, even if the school cannot change the demographics of the student body.

With so many resources available in the school, I wish this district provided free lunches for all students, as they have in other districts we've lived in. I think free lunches for all kids promotes better eating habits, and encourages kids to try foods they might not otherwise.
