We love Avalon! It is a place where our boys can really thrive. I am a parent of two current students, who take full advantage of what Avalon has to offer. They play sports, recite poetry, compete in festival day games, and come home faith-filled, deeply-thinking, and physically-tired. Both we and our children have formed great friendships over our 10+ years in the Avalon community.

It's a traditional boys' school that embodies old traditions, teaching Latin, Math, Sciences, Literature, History, Religion, and Art; and, although they don't have a Philosophy "class," it's clear that our boys come home really thinking about things that matter in life.

Avalon is a remarkably diverse environment for a school of its size. My sons' classes have families from a variety of socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. As a Roman Catholics it is important to us that the school and it's teachers be a stronghold Faith, but it is also important that the school welcome all kinds of boys.

My son loves Avalon! He is in 11th grade and has been there since 5th grade. His teachers are brilliant and caring. Very accomplished teaching staff with hearts to educate the next generation of boys in the classics. My son is in Latin 4 and has his eyes on the Naval Academy.

Avalon was a great school for my son to attend. The small class size worked to his advantage; he received the academic attention he needed to succeed. He was encouraged to participate in school activities, and especially enjoyed the Gala and Pilgrimage.
