I love my school for the fact that there are so many options for any type of student. Our school puts in a big effort to break down social walls between students and encourage diversity, and it works! I love the environment and it's obvious that the teachers and staff care about their job and their students. The AP program is very big here and there are lots of options for students seeking to above and beyond in any area they choose. Extra-curriculars are also very big here. We offer lots of different options in terms of music, STEM, athletics (our teams go to state every year) and more. Learning goes beyond the classroom here because the teachers teach very well and care deeply for each of their students.

Auburn Riverside is a great school. Staff members and ASB emphasize the importance of recognizing students and their accomplishments. Every month, a "Raven Walk" occurred. Students and staff members were celebrated for their accomplishments, such as being a state-qualifier for band or receiving Teacher of the Year award from the school district. The Raven Walk is like a parade; people hold signs with their name on it while walking through the hallways and students/staff cheer them on and applaud them for their accomplishments. ARHS also focuses on unity and bringing everyone together as one. The phrase "We are AR" represents how both students and staff members are all ravens. As Ravens, everyone is a family that looks out for each other. Every two years, ARHS has an event called "Breaking Down the Walls." Students are nominated to attend the day-long event. It is truly life-changing because you get to learn more about fellow students and staff members.
Good place to make life long friends, and teachers are great. School spirit is apparent and fun. Easy to be involved.
The sports were my favorite part. Being a part of the women’s soccer varsity was the highlight of my high school career. We went to playoffs every year and this year we finished 2nd in state.
Before the season starts we go camping as team bonding and make lip sync battles and do other activities that are so memorable and exciting and fun.
Overall, riverside is a great school. Many different options for electives such as choir, jewelry, photography, drawing, painting, and an abundance of different physical education classes such as volleyball, tennis, basketball, atomic walking, and yoga.
All of the teacher I’ve had have been very supportive of my soccer career and understood my absence from classes due to soccer trips and other missed classes.
There are also an abundance of languages available such as Spanish, French, sign language, and others.
