Auburn Riverside is the best!!! The school environment is so clean and friendly. And their teachers really care about their students and work really hard on the subjects they teach. The school has a wide range of subjects they offer and many languages courses and clubs as well. They even have a small special 8th period that every student has called AR time where students get time in school to do homework or projects or sleep cause sometimes students don't have time when they get home to take care of their siblings or do jobs to support their family. Our school also partakes in school programs like Breaking down the walls and Character strong where it helps bring students together since quarentine and online school messed everyone's social skills. The school has massive school spirit and fun spirt weeks. there are rarely any news of fighting or bullying, etc. And it seems that both the students and teachers have a really great time.
I love my school for the fact that there are so many options for any type of student. Our school puts in a big effort to break down social walls between students and encourage diversity, and it works! I love the environment and it's obvious that the teachers and staff care about their job and their students. The AP program is very big here and there are lots of options for students seeking to above and beyond in any area they choose. Extra-curriculars are also very big here. We offer lots of different options in terms of music, STEM, athletics (our teams go to state every year) and more. Learning goes beyond the classroom here because the teachers teach very well and care deeply for each of their students.
Compared to some of the other schools in my area, Auburn Riverside High School is generally a much nicer school in terms of how students treat each other and some of the clubs and activities offered here. Many kids here are friendly and nice, and the teachers have a positive impact on their students' lives. Though obviously not every school is perfect and they each have their own flaws, I believe Auburn Riverside is genuinely a good school.
