What I liked about auburn was that there was a lot of diversity! that's provably because Auburn itself is a diverse town. I also liked that we had a lot of clubs and extra curricular activities. I do wish that Auburn High did more of an effort to be more sustainable. We did had an Environmental Committee but we didn't had much funding or much support from the school. Another thing is that Auburn High needs to put more funding towards departments like art, music, science and spend less money on football.

My overall experience with Auburn High School was very good. I especially liked all my teachers. They were engaging and made learning enjoyable. I feel they have a passion for teaching and care about students.
The one thing I would change about Auburn High School is an administrative rule and procedure related to wearing lanyards for safety. Wearing lanyards helps to ensure safety. But, students sometimes forget or misplace their lanyard. However, every time a student does not have his/her lanyard, it is an automatic In-School-Suspension, which involves missing important classroom learning/instruction. This is a barrier to learning, removes and prevents the student from participating in any program, sport, or activity, and goes on the permanent education record. This is excessive punishment in relation to the action and is not ensure an environment that is both safe and focused on providing an education for all students.
I love Auburn High School. The sports are top notch and the people ate the nicest in a school that I have ever met. There is definitely diversity which is a great way learn more about people. Everybody is friendly and I have never been bullied here. They do have glass walls, which can be nice for some outside sun to get in, but I'm unsure about the safety precautions. The academics are amazing, it's challenging but just enough so you actually learn more and you are still able to do good. There are a lot of different clubs that you can join, just about any you can think of. They have a very, very nice and (now) a brand new facility. It's clean and well kept. They have good resources and I'm able to get things done. I'm so glad I went here! I would want to go nowhere else!
