Atrisco Heritage Academy is the largest high school in New Mexico. Aside from how beautiful this campus is, their athletic department was enjoyable. I was a student athlete, played soccer from my sophomore year to my senior year. The principal at the time encouraged the students to show support and show school pride. The assemblies were also great! It was always great to see the student body cheer and sing. I would choose this school again if I could because of the enjoyable experiences I had and the experiences that helped me grow to the person I am now. I admit I entered this school being a rather shy student but came out as a confident young woman with many aspirations to keep moving forward.

Being a senior at this school, only having one entrance and exit sucks! There's always a lot of traffic its pretty annoying. I'm hoping in the near future that will change, but overall this school is really good.
Atrisco Heritage is a great school to attend. The teachers are great and helpful towards students. In Atrisco their is a great deal of diversity, especially among the Hispanic community. The club SOMOS is a school club the involves Hispanic students to commemorate their culture and how these different cultures are important. The sport's teams are not the greatest, but they try really hard which is a great accomplishment. Overall Atrisco is a school I would recommend, even though it is big with over 2,000, the environment is great,
