Atlantis was an overall average high school experience for me. I believe this is because I was someone of average intelligence and no behavioral issues. If you are someone who has troubles with a learning disability or behavioral issues, Atlantis is not the school to attend. Teachers were friendly, however, and they were willing to help anyone if they were asked. Sports are still improving, but there are many more teams than when the school first opened up to high school students. When it comes to the arts, the school lacks. There is no art or music classes, no drama, and no band which are all things that make up a traditional high school experience. Teachers were great, and I had a good high school experience, but don't expect the traditional public school experience if you attend Atlantis.

Atlantis Charter strives to put students first. The culture at Atlantis is based on respect for all people, safety and security of the students, and preparation for our kids futures. They are a NEACS Accredited school, so the students have a better chance being recognized and accepted by colleges across the nation.
The best part about Atlantis is that its a small school, which means our kids get more support in and out of class. The Sports program is getting better, many High School teams are making the local playoffs for the first time this year. And the Middle school sports program has seen many championship victories.
A very good school, but a growing school with issues within it such as a defined disconnect between administration and teacher as well as a disconnect with students. Honors classes loose worth to the students when each honors class has 30 students while basic college preparatory classes have substantially less students with more teachers. It is often difficult to have enough chairs for an honors class due to the lack of a challenge to be in an honors course because the requirements for honors class are not rigorous.
