Atlanta Montessori International School Reviews
The teaching staff is incredibly devoted, and they really individualize the lessons they give. I love that every student is challenged every day - they truly model differentiation in the classroom. All of the classrooms have at least one teacher or assistant who speaks a foreign language.
The administration changed this year (2014-15) when the school was sold to Endeavor. The new administration has been very responsive and made positive changes, while leaving alone the stuff that was working - so we've been happy.
The grounds at the school are beautiful, and the classroom spaces are wonderful. There is no real library or gymnasium / performance space, and no cafeteria or kitchen (all food must be brought from home).
This school has wonderful teachers, who are very nurturing and teach to the whole child. My kids have not only gotten a great academic education here, but also have gotten important social/emotional life lessons.
There are wonderful extracurriculars offered at the school, such as yoga, playball, soccer, dance, akido, violin, guitar, etc - for a fee in the afterschool hours.
They take great care to be aware of allergies in the classroom. The Montessori curriculum is by nature anti-bullying, and we've never had any issues with that. The school takes security seriously. There is no school nurse.
