Athens High School is a great school. It is located in the middle of the city. The building is maintained well by our custodians. The classrooms are clean.
Our teachers are highly knowledgeable. Their teachings bring a lively and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Our school provides numerous extra-curricular activities for our students after school. These activities allow our students to participate in competitions and win prizes.
Along with this, my school arranges Charity Week every year. It is a time of year where our students come together for one common shared destiny. A destiny to help our community in ways we cannot imagine.
My school provides a friendly atmosphere for our students. But never does our school compromise discipline. When a student violates our code of conduct, they face consequences. I love my school.

I absolutely loved going to school in Troy. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was a great learning environment. In school I was able to focus on my academics and set aside time for athletics, clubs and other extracurricular activities. It was a well-balanced school that offered many opportunities. This school definitely prepared me for college. I learned so much about myself throughout my years here. The teachers were willing to connect with me on a deep level and really got to know me. I will forever be grateful for Athens. Once a RedHawk, always a RedHawk.
I loved my high school. It is very welcoming and inclusive to all religions, races, interests, and more. There are so many classes to take which will further your interests and the school is very supportive in following your passion. The only thing I would change is that the school is very focused on it's image, more specifically the districts image, so when there are kids getting into trouble there is no discussion in how to help them they are simply suspended and no one pays attention to what may cause it because an undocumented suspension or detention is better for the school.
