Athens High School is a great school. It is located in the middle of the city. The building is maintained well by our custodians. The classrooms are clean.
Our teachers are highly knowledgeable. Their teachings bring a lively and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Our school provides numerous extra-curricular activities for our students after school. These activities allow our students to participate in competitions and win prizes.
Along with this, my school arranges Charity Week every year. It is a time of year where our students come together for one common shared destiny. A destiny to help our community in ways we cannot imagine.
My school provides a friendly atmosphere for our students. But never does our school compromise discipline. When a student violates our code of conduct, they face consequences. I love my school.

In my four years experience at Athens High School, I am proud to say I am a red hawk. The teachers and staff are all so kind and they really do want to try their best to help you succeed in life. They always offer help and are on ground with providing students countless of amazing opportunities whether it is traveling, college tours, scholarships, and are always looking for more ways to offer students what they need. They make sure they are up to date on things and ensure safety among all of us such as practice ALICE training. The teachers are making sure students get the education they need. The Safe-Eds are always on watch and friendly. The cafeteria workers are making sure we eat healthy by providing us with nutritional foods. The counselors are always there for you when you need. Athens High School is also unique in a way that our spirit and team work during charity week has broke record this year on raising over $180k, and I am honored to be a part of that.
I have spent 4 years at Athens High School and as a senior it's sad I will have to leave soon. Athens is such a welcoming school from the students, teachers and staff. All of them are respectful, kind, and always there for us students. The academics, learning, and teaching are more advanced. I feel they challenge us more and expect more from us. There are many clubs and activities that students can join, and nobody can be left out, there is something for everyone. I do feel very safe at this school. We always are practicing for emergency situations and our administration always lets us know they are here for us. It is difficult to think of something that should be changed but I do think that pricing in the cafeteria is pricey for certain things. Overall, Athens High School is such a great school.
