I loved Athens High School! It was an amazing place to spend my academic career. My only complaints would be related to certain sports being very underfunded and the theatre department being understaffed and underfunded. The teachers, environment, connectedness, and almost every other part of Athens High School was incredible. For a small town school, they have tons of clubs and opportunities for every student to invest themselves in something they are passionate about. Athens High School truly is a family like no other.
As a student at Athens High School, I have had the opportunity to grow both academically and personally. The school provides a supportive and challenging environment that encourages students to strive for excellence and reach their full potential. I have been able to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities and form meaningful relationships with teachers and peers. Overall, my experience at Athens High School has been a positive one and has greatly impacted my development as a student and individual.
There is definitely better education here. My old school teachers didn’t care if we cheated, we would go over courses only once. Really bad. Here on the other hand it’s a lot better. Only problem is probably the dress code. Not everyone is one size, therefore some shirts could be the same but depending on your body they look different!
