The bushes surrounding our school, the pleasant hellos from staff, and the eagle that lies in our center all unite Atascocita High under one idea- unity.
The last two years at AHS have showed me how important it is to show off your school spirit. Being a part of athletics helps me realize how important it is to show off skills in the classroom and on the field to future colleges. I look around and the cultures throughout classes differ, which unifies so many students. Fine arts programs are of the highest standards. Academics are of the highest quality, teachers helping you reach the next step of education with the best learning techniques.
However, steps for more growth are necessary. Communication between staff and student body are not communicated, announcements of college programs are not received by students, which creates much frustration.
My time at Atascocita has been successful academically and athletically and with one final phrase I'll end this review.

Atascocita High School isn’t particularly great, nor is it particularly terrible. It’s pretty mid. While the hallways are way too crowded and the lunch was incredibly unappealing for most of my time there, the teachers I met really changed my life (and they’ve started adding better menu items at lunch). There’s some nice little communities you can become a part of (shout out to the Latin Club), and you can find your niche. It’s still got all the awful elements of high school for sure, but the teachers and pals you make there can make it a lot more tolerable.
I learned so much about myself and other people during my four years at Atascocita High School. Students' safety, education, and overall well-being are of primary concern for the principal and the teacher. Diversity is a hallmark of this school, where everyone is accepted with a smile. Besides the extracurricular activities and clubs available to anyone, the classes imparted a great deal of knowledge and had an impact on me as well as other students. In addition, we had a lot of success in school with our great football team, which won almost, if not all our games, and our criminal justice club, which also won and had members train simultaneously. Having grown up with this school in my memories as a student and now a senior, I am thrilled to be leaving. I know it's not the best school, but it fits me and my community perfectly.
