It is a very welcoming place, where you don't need to worry about finding somewhere to fit in. The students are great, the teachers are great, even the staff are great. Teachers will always find ways to help the students and will always use resources available to them to help students.
Over the four years that I have attended this school it has proven the importance of getting ready for college early. The classes are at a higher level when compared to other high schools in AZ. The classes can be tough but there's a good reason. The methods the teachers use are similar to that of college professors. It's up to the students to do their homework to be ready for the test. Homework does not go for a grade but it is still the most important thing to do in order to make sure your mind is ready for the future. One notable lesson is that every senior is required to apply for scholarships and colleges as part of the curriculum. Because of the smaller size of the school the teachers are able to speak with students and parents on a more personal basis. The students and teachers become friends instead of acquaintances.
