COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:

Aspen Academy's preferred learning model is Full In-School with an option to distance learn. Due to the recent increase in COVID19 cases, MDH has temporarily put us in a HYBRID model. Knowing that our priority and goal is to have students in school and also to keep everyone safe, we will be watching the numbers closely to be able to switch back to Full In-School as soon as we can. Aspen Academy is a great K-8 school! The students, staff, families and community always work together to do what is best for kids and finds ways to get us what we need! Kids are kind to each other and the big kids always help the little kids. There are high expectations but the teachers support us in reaching high goals.

Aspen is a great school! I love the small class sizes, the individualized learning plans, art, music, and Spanish classes starting in Kindergarten, and the fact that they help students learn without the hours worth of homework. They really believe in time for kids to be kids outside of the class.
I work with an amazing Admin team at Aspen Academy. They are extremely hard working and always willing to roll up their sleeves figuratively and literally for whatever needs to be done to make Aspen a great school. This summer, the team put in countless extra hours to help prepare during this pandemic. No one ever complained. They just asked "What need to happen and what needs to be done?" I have so much respect for this team. When a school has great leadership, it shows. Aspen has top academics, teachers, and staff.
