Having been attending the school since I was in kindergarten, Ascension has undeniably become my second home. I honestly believe I am with my school family more than with my biological one.
One of my favorited aspects of Ascension is the freedom granted to its students to truly explore their own unique interests and be themselves. Additionally, Ascension creates a community atmosphere in which students are not only permitted but encouraged to openly communicate with their teachers on a personal level. Through this, I believe this school has successfully prepared me to later exist amidst a professional environment following graduation!

I love my school. It is a big family of people all rooting for you with the common goal of wanting to help you reach your fullest potential. My school has super qualified teachers, many with advanced degrees who not only care about my grades, but they care about my well-being and my life. They are willing to stay after school and help me understand the material but also are there to help me through a rough patch. I have a couple close teachers who treat me like their own child and are shaping me and pushing me to follow my dreams and change the world. I would say one of the only places my school lacks is in diversity as most who attend are privileged white students. I think we would be that much more well-rounded if we improved in this area. Overall, my school is my happy place; it is a safe haven where I can be myself and have the opportunity to love and serve others all to glorify God.
It is different...it is different, that is the way the administration and faculty define the school. And after transferring one of our daughters here, we were not sure of the definition, but a year later we were totally educated on this place and transferred our second daughter here!! Best place for our highly intelligent girls, which were at another top Episcopal school in the area, that just was not as open-minded and as personal with each “different” student situation. Ascension Episcopal allows each student to pursue their individual interests and needs!!
