The attentive response of the teachers, along with administrative staff and teachers who listen make for productive school days. I’ve benefitted from hands on learning & the offsite experiences, such as learning opportunities in my journalism class, and service hour opportunities.
AES values students as an integral part of their educational success. As juniors we are offered a trip to view multiple colleges across several states to gain knowledge and broaden our scope on what universities have to offer.
School is fun! We are encouraged to participate in dress up days, dance offs, homecoming festivities and special celebrations. Most importantly, I feel as though AES has taught me life skills that I can take with me wherever my journey leads me.

I would say that Ascension Episcopal School is definitely something special. The family feeling of the school is truly something special. Ascension has provided me with many unique opportunities to express myself in ways that otherwise would be ostracized. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the recent administration. I personally am not a fan of the new team, because I feel they are getting rid of the things that make Ascension stand out. Overall, I love Ascension more than most, but I am concerned for the future of the school.
If I had not attended Ascension, I would not have been as well-rounded as I am now in regards to the arts, sports, and academics. Ascension never failed to provide all students with opportunities to explore new clubs, sports, and activities! The administration and teachers never failed to help their students reach for what they wanted to achieve!
