The teachers do continue to try their best in many aspects when dealing with students and getting their work done, but something they just leave it on the line. There truly are no deadlines and no true college preparation when it comes to this school. While I enjoyed the teaching style of many of the teachers and the amount of diversity in our school, if they could be more strict on specific aspects of education (like homework and deadlines).

This school was diverse, supportive, creative and just overall a great place to make friends and have experiences. Teachers were interested and involved with every student, you were never just a number in a big classroom. Though if your looking for a superb education and supplies it is not up to par. Poor funding and a high layoff rate leaves the school with ill informed teachers, very old books, terrible art supplies, and just bad tools for learning. The poor funding is also why when I went to school there we had no air conditioning and broken heaters so the learning environment was a bit uncomfortably hot or very cold (unless you were lucky enough to have class with the teachers that would bring heaters and fans from home), the water fountains were usually broken, and one of the old walls actually crumbled and fell in during school, luckily no one was hurt.
My overall experience here was great! Even though the average test score isn't the best in the world, it's a great school to go to.The teachers are really cool and do their best to help students understand the material. They also do a fun performance nearly every Halloween in the hallway during lunch!

What makes this school unique is Arts Night. This is when students at are school show what they have learned from their art class such as dance, band, digital, and visual arts. During this event, it's very fun!
