It was an okay school. A few teachers really cared about us all doing well, but others didn't really seem to be too bothered with helping students at all. My favorite part was the band program there, and it was probably the best experience out of my four years there. I wouldn't trade it for anything. But the campus itself had a few snobby office staff and people that seemed to be biased toward certain students.

Most of the teachers at my school genuinely care about their students and the education they're receiving. If a student does not seem like they're trying to learn or if they just aren't understanding the information given to them, most of our teachers will reach out and offer extra help. Many of these teachers form really great bonds with a lot of students and ultimately become friends with them. Some teachers don't really seem like they care at all, though, and are very unapproachable.
Arlington High School may not be the best campus but, we do have some really great teachers who take pride in what their teaching and making sure that their students are understanding it as well. Our school offers tutoring after school which helps a lot of students because they are able to go and ask help if they dont have time during before school or at lunch. My personal experience at Arlington these past 3 years and now starting my senior year has been great towards every step of the way I had teachers who were extremely well and some teachers that I didn't really learn from them. So, what I did was ask the teacher questions or ask another teacher who had taught the same class and that had really helped me as well. I would choose to go to Arlington again because it feels like home and everyone there including staff, students, teachers, and parents, are very nice people to engage with and always have positive attitudes.
