Arlington High School Reviews
Rating 3.45 out of 5 183 reviews
Arlington High School is full of wonderful teachers, class options, and an overall very positive atmosphere. High school typically has a reputation of being cliquey, but it is possible for everyone to find their space at AHS, as most people are very welcoming. The location of the school is also great, and open campus allows students to visit the many local businesses during their free time. Administration is very reasonable, allowing students to have a voice in major decisions regarding the school, and students are free to participate in extracurricular activities with the full support of the administration. As mentioned earlier, the teachers are fantastic and most genuinely want to help the students do well. There are also plenty of options for students to challenge themselves with harder classes and extra projects. Overall, it is a fantastic high school experience that I could not recommend enough.
Arlington High School is a good school both academically wise and also extracurriculars wise. There is something for everyone, be it computers, drama classes, art classes, sports and etc. The teachers are also great, but some way better than the others. Which makes a new year a dice roll in which if you get a nice teacher you are set for the year otherwise you will be suffering in class. The environment of the school is really nice of course there are kids who vape, and do illegal stuff. But the majority of the school are really nice and genuine people. The building is also really nice as it was newly built. Overall I give it 9 stars out of 10 stars.
Arlington High is honestly a great school with a ton of opportunities for students to explore courses relating to their interests. It offers many AP courses, but students can typically only start taking them junior year unless they're super ahead. There's also a ton of sports and clubs and pretty much anyone can start a new one if they have a few people interested and an advisor. Teachers and staff are really nice for the most part and the new building is really nice with all the new equipment for STEM and the arts.
