Arizona School for the Arts was one of those high schools that gives you a complete bittersweet experience. Sure, it drove me crazy at times but I made friends and experiences to last me a lifetime. They overprepare you to a point that now, as a college student, everything seems simple. When other university students stress over presentations or essays, I can’t help but smile out of confidence that I got this. ASA may stress you out in the moment but the second you leave, you’re more prepared than you would ever be coming from another Arizona high school. The late nights and early mornings were all worth it.

Arizona School for the Arts is my second home. I began attending the school my fifth grade year. This tight knit community of students is a supportive and helpful learning environment to be surrounded in throughout high school and middle school years. The teachers all truly care about their students and their needs. The ASA Culture allows students to strive in an accepting and open environment. Students are encouraged to think outside the box, be socially aware, and be involved in the outside community. The rigorous academics set students up for a successful future in college and beyond, and the arts allow an artistic outlet to be creative and shine. ASA is a terrific learning environment, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Arizona School for the Arts is a really nice school! The coursework, although tedious at times, does a good job of teaching students about time management, as well as preparing them for the work in college.
