My experience at ALA has been a wonderful yet stressful journey! I would be lying if I said that school doesn’t care but AlA has such a big heart and open arms and it is impossible to be not loved there. It is different when you come straight out of a public school and you are trying to change your life for the better. It is very hard to get used to, but with the help of all the love staff there it is just amazing how much they care and make you feel welcomed. The school really gets you ready for college. It prepares you for all the hard and stressful things that you will have to endure with the excessive homework, but it is worth it. The things I would like to change is the dress code and I would like to see more diversity. Other than that everything is amazing, the sports is amazingly heartwarming and family oriented and it is a once in a lifetime experience.
Arizona Lutheran Academy is an amazing school! I am only a freshman there, but I already love it. All the faculty and students are super nice and helpful. All of the teachers really know their subjects, so you get a really good education. A.L.A. is a smaller school, so you get smaller class sizes, (which is really nice). It also means that you get to play a lot in sports. Overall A.L.A. is a great school and if your looking for a school you should come here. Plus They help you a lot with tuition, so money isn't a big problem.
After being a student for all four years at Arizona Lutheran Academy, I can say with certainty that I will miss my teachers the most when I graduate. The staff at Arizona Lutheran Academy is incredible. Each and every teacher makes an obvious connection with all of their students because they genuinely care about them and their futures. For the students who are willing to invest back into their teacher, there becomes a relationship of respect, trust, and companionship - a "we are all in this together" sort of attitude. This is absolutely critical in any learning environment, but especially now under the circumstances we are facing with COVID-19. The teaching staff has made tremendous efforts to start beneficial online schooling, but perhaps the most important thing they have done is continue to build connections with their students, allowing themselves to be available for school help and prayer requests.
