I've been with Arizona Connections Academy for over 5 years and I loved it! Before I went to Connexus, my grades were "average" and I had to deal with environmental factors from my old school which made it difficult to learn. I had heard about Arizona Connections Academy from a fair and decided to give the online school a try. The online school environment took some time to get used to, but my teachers were there to help me along the way.

I have loved being a student at Arizona Connections Academy! My brother graduated from connections a few years ago and I have definitely seen growth within the staff, education, and students. They make sure that the students are being well taken care of and gives lots of selections for clubs. Their always there when you have a question and check in if you need help! I will miss being a student at Arizona Connections Academy but I’m proud to say I will graduate from here!
Connections Academy is a really great online school, and it is good to teach you how to do online school if you are new to it like I was. There are live lessons a few times a week or sometimes day, clubs you can join, activities like Talent Shows you can partake in, outings you can go to, and even field trips. None of these are necessary, though. You can WebMail your teachers and fellow students at any time, and some teachers even let you call if you need to chat face-to-face. The education is really good, it is challenging and engaging. Not all of the classes or teachers are perfect, it all depends on the teacher you get or the classes you pick (yeah, you can pick your classes). As for assignments, their isn't really "homework", there are QuickChecks (daily little test things) Quizzes, Tests, Discussions (with other students where you can get peer review and give review), and Portfolios, which are projects. There are also Practice Tests, to check where you stand, and Reflections.
