I loved the experience of being a student at Ardrey Kell high school. The staff- consisting of administrators, educators, counselors, and the janitorial team all work hard to provide the best experience to the school. Great quality education is offered to students who want to achieve not only their high school diploma, but challenge themselves and enrich their minds through honors and AP ( Advanced Placement) programs/classes. We have teachers willing to give time to help students through tutoring and extra practice with additional help in the mornings before school starts. We have a creative and talented student body government that also helps in creating a fun time for students through organized fundraisers, athletic games, school themes for spirit week and pep rallys. Ardrey Kell Highscool is known for its top education offers here in NC and definitely lives up to its name!
This school encourages students to take their studies seriously and offers many levels of courses to best accommodate students’ skill levels- This makes the school amazing when it comes to college readiness, but the expectations here are quite high. The atmosphere is very competitive.
Even though the school offers many clubs and extracurriculars, students aren’t well encouraged to participate. Those that do, however, will have a great time!
A student’s experience at this school will absolutely be exactly what they make of it- join clubs, keep your head in the game, and stay involved, and you will have a great experience here!

Ardrey Kell has an exceptional academic program, offering an exceptional variety of honors and AP classes for all students with different interests. The school is also very diverse. Every race and ethnicity is found within the student body, administration, and custodial service and staff. Clubs and events are held to make everyone feel accepted and included. There are even non binary bathrooms for those with unique gender qualities. I love the school honestly. I genuinely feel like I'm apart of a family there. Teachers and staff are always willing to help and listen when needed. I also am always pushed and encouraged to reach my full potential daily!
