The Marianists have a vision of education that values educating the whole person.
Five characteristics are at the center of all Marianist schools.
Educating for faith formation;
Providing an integral, quality education;
Educating in the Family Spirit;
Educating for service, justice, and peace; and
Educating for adaptation and change.

We pair this with our unique approach to education that recognizes that young men learn differently. It’s our academic vision to teach our students with REALearning: Relational, experiential and active learning. With new state-of-the-art classrooms that break the mold of rows of students, our mission trips that teach our young men about our neighbors and our athletic programs that value sportsmanship and hard work, we’ve made the commitment that places us as leaders in educating young men.

Our Academic Philosophy

“New times demand new methods,” Blessed Chaminade, the founder of the Society of Mary, said. In service to this commitment, we continue to evolve our learning model: Relational, Experiential, Authentic. We developed it based on research and best practices for teaching young men. We prepare students for life in the 21st century as men of faith, knowledge, and character - Men of Moeller.

    Moeller has been an amazing experience over the past three and a half years! I feel like Moeller has really helped me to develop as a leader. The House System provides a lot of leadership positions for students like myself. I have been a mentor group captain, Trinity House Chaplain, and this year I am Trinity House Captain. Along with these leadership positions and other extracurriculars, I have been able to take a very rigorous schedule with great teachers who have always been there to support me and help me grow in any way they can. When I start university, I will have twelve AP classes behind me and feel very prepared in every way.

    Moeller is an excellent school that is dedicated to forming students into remarkable men. While that is part of their mission statement, it's not just words. The school culture at Moeller is unparalleled in the area. These young men are truly changed during their time there. Recently, Moeller has really begun to work on its diversity by instituting programs that focus on inclusion. This is a really important part of the school's mission moving forward and addresses a real area of need. Programs for student retention, a diversity club, and a parent group have been formed to move the school into a more inclusive direction.
    I have a son that graduated from Moeller, a senior and an incoming freshman. Our family's experience has been amazing and I would highly recommend it. Each of my sons' experience has been uniquely based on his individual skills, interests, and talents. They've been challenged academically by wonderful, caring teachers in honors, AP and college prep classes. I've seen their confidence grow as teachers encouraged them to step up and try new things. They've had the opportunity to do service work, participate and lead retreats and grow in their faith. They've learned how hard work and teamwork on the athletic field pays off, and how those skills translate off the field. Moeller is a great community of families who really care. Moeller has certainly prepared my kids for college but beyond that Moeller has provided my sons with great role models, the opportunity to build lifelong friendships, and gain confidence in who they are and what they can accomplish.
