Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School Reviews
Rating 3.68 out of 5 142 reviews
I am entering my senior year at Archbishop Coleman F Carroll. With the past almost 4 years I’ve attended, it’s been an amazing experience! I was able to meet amazing friends and teachers that changed my life for the better. Everyone there: students, teachers, staff are down to earth and always makes sure that God is in the center of all. The classes aren’t big, they are small so that way every student can be able to learn and have one on one time with the teachers. Coming from personal experiences, I didn’t have any friends growing up and I was always bullied for the way I talked and acted because of my autism, but at Carroll they treat everyone equally and love everyone like family! Along with that, I was able to meet to whom I call my best friends. If you are like me or had similar experiences I recommend coming to Archbishop Coleman Carroll because once you walk in that building you feel an abundance of peace and tranquillity that betters yourself and your academics!
The very intimate environment and friendly staff and faculty made my experience one to remember. Teacher-student relationships thrived because the class sizes were small and kids were able to learn efficiently without any distractions. The school encourages hard work and participation in its many clubs and organizations. The students are all very dedicated to their work and the teachers have no issue adjusting their coursework if students are having trouble understanding. Don't be fooled, however, the coursework is rigorous and requires a lot of attention. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better high school experience although at times it was difficult academically, the friends I made and teachers that pushed me to work harder will stick with me forever.
I transferred to ACC this year as a sophomore. The classes seem really simple for me and all the teachers are very attentive of each student. The students are also great, I made friends easily in my first days. So far, I’ve had a great experience in this school.
