Aquila Elementary School Reviews

My son went to K here and will never go here again. A gifted child, he was so bored that despite our cheerleading, he asked more than once to leave early so he could do math at home.
While my son's experiences and the school's responses were bad, it was another child that convinced me to abandon Aqilla. That, and the teacher's attitude convinced me that this is not a good school.
That child wanted to do well. The teacher came over, corrected that child's first problem and stood by his side. The teacher was not paying attention to the child. The child needing help did the second problem right! As he waited for his teacher, his understanding and confidence disappeared. He changed to an incorrect answer. He got ready for the third problem - correctly. His teacher turned to him, told him he had done everything wrong. He was crushed. When that teacher said that she wouldn't know what to do with a smaller class, I realised that she wasn't teaching.
