Applied Tech has really grown into an academic powerhouse along with its other county counterparts in Bergen Tech Teterboro and Bergen County Academies. After junior year, they grant students with the freedom of selecting college classes they wish to take at little cost thanks to our relationship with Bergen Community College, allowing students to select the rigor of their Senior year as well as how high they want to strive academically. Your senior year will take place with only BCC classes, truly allowing yourself to get a basic understanding of the college experience before graduating. The school continues to grow academically each year, even offering students with the opportunity to receive an education in cybersecurity (which is only offered in one other NJ school system), as well as a full Associates Degree before graduation in high school! All the BCTS schools offer Group 4 athletics, allowing athletes to compete against top competition while achieving a great education.
As an alum of ATHS, I believe that attending here can be one of the best decisions a student makes for their future. After having graduated from ATHS with an Associate's Degree, I was able to graduate from NJIT earlier than most!
Apart from that, I was not able to experience much of what the school has to offer now. However, what I was able to experience was nothing short of memorable.
It's great to see what the school has become in the past few years, and how it will improve in the coming years!

I love this school so much! What makes this school one of the best in the county are the opportunities that it offers its students. As an engineering major, I experience hands on learning which includes building robots, flying drones, and so much more. As for the social aspect, every single person who makes up the student body is so kind and the staff is even kinder. There is just so much that this school has to offer that many others could not even dream of!
